Keizer Elementary
About
Keizer School Details
- Keizer is a kindergarten through fifth-grade school with an enrollment that averages around 700 students.
- Bilingual and Childcare services are available.
- A couple years ago we decided to enter the Iris Festival. We look forward to making it a yearly tradition with our 5th graders.
- The original Keizer Elementary opened its doors in 1916. In 1987 our new Keizer Elementary was built. The original school building is now Keizer City Hall. Keizer Elementary was named for the then-suburb of Salem. In 1982 the residents of Keizer voted to incorporate, and Keizer is now its own city. The city was named for Thomas Keizer, a North Carolian who was a leader in the emigration of 1843 and member of the legislative committee in 1844.
